Our Mission
The specific purpose of this corporation is to preserve and protect historic artifacts of Yosemite climbing, and to educate and raise public awareness about and interest in Yosemite climbing.
Our Vision
To preserve the history of climbing in Yosemite and spread awareness, promote local and visitor stewardship of our precious public lands, creating community through preservation and education.
A Brief History
The Yosemite Facelift was launched in 2004, by YCA Founder and President, Ken Yager, in Yosemite National Park (YNP). This annual collaboration between the YCA, YNP, and multiple partners and sponsors quickly became the nation’s most beloved volunteer cleanup.
