The Yosemite Climbing Museum is undergoing a transformation. Our new layout and exhibits will be revealed at our Grand Re-Opening, April 26th. Celebrating Camp 4
February 21, marks the 21st anniversary of the addition of Camp 4 in Yosemite National Park to the National Register of Historic Places for the internationally significant role it played in the development of big wall climbing.

Come Hang at the Perch!
We started establishing the Yosemite Climbing Association headquarters, museum, and gallery last year in August and we’ve made incredible progress in the last couple months. I’ve dropped in every other week or so and every time, I’ve been really impressed with how everything is coming together. We’ve painted the walls, hung dozens of photos, and built display cases.

An exhibit featuring a history of rock climbing in Yosemite Valley is scheduled to run from April thru June of 2019 at the Mariposa Museum and History Center. Here is the press release:
YCA Goes to OR!
We're very excited about our recent relationship with Subaru, the official vehicle of Yosemite Facelift. The team traveled to the Outdoor Retailers Summer Market in Denver at the end of July to visit and thank our sponsors and we traveled in style! Thanks to Subaru's generous lease, we had a 2018 Outback. The usual Facelift family vehicles, each with over 250,000 miles, would have probably left us the 117-degree heat in the desert.
