Red Rock Rehab/YCA Collaboration

Join the Southern Nevada Climbers Coalition in collaboration with the Yosemite Climbing Association on November 19th for the Red Rock Rehab cleanup in Red Rocks, Nevada! Get ready for a full day of giving back to places we play. 

As an extension of the successful Yosemite Facelift event, the objective of Facelift Act Local is for you to pick up litter, engage in service projects on our public lands, and spread the work of stewardship to some of the most visited and beautiful recreation areas in the country. The hope is not only to help clean up Red Rocks in a single day but to inspire action to maintain a pristine landscape here and everywhere you go! 

The presenting partner for the Red Rocks Facelift is the Southern Nevada Climbers Coalition. The SNCC is a membership based advocacy group who’s funds make it possible to provide the supplies needed to keep our climbing areas clean and safe, and preserve the history and habitats that we share. It’s no small task to upkeep one of the most iconic climbing destinations in the US, but the SNCC has the passion to tackle the task. The organization also serves as a great resource for local and visiting climbers on what it means to recreate ethically.
