The Yosemite Climbing Association on September 17th hosted a Facelift Act Local cleanup in Rocky Mountain, Colorado in collaboration with several local agencies and sponsors.
As an extension of the successful Yosemite Facelift event, the objective of Facelift Act Local is for you to pick up litter, engage in service projects on our public lands, and spread the work of stewardship to some of the most visited and beautiful recreation areas in the country. The hope is not only to help clean up Rocky Mountain in a single day but to inspire action to maintain a pristine landscape here and everywhere you go!
The presenting partner for the Rocky Mountain Facelift are the Rocky Mountain Conservancy and the YMCA of the Rockies.
The Rocky Mountain Conservancy has been protecting our public lands for more than 90 years. A nonprofit supporting Rocky Mountain National Park, the organization’s impact extends to maintaining trails, pursuing Land Protection, education, historic preservation, and youth stewardship.
The YMCA of the Rockies is a charitable and faith-based organization committed to communities, locally and nationwide. The organization values and appreciates our local relationships, and commits to positive-impact partnerships.
Help spread the word about Yosemite Facelift by tagging #FaceliftActLocal or #YosemiteFacelift2022 when sharing your experience online. This event is powered by volunteers like you! We can’t wait to get our hands dirty with you again!
